Hi, I’m Sarah.
Welcome to Sankalpa
I’ve always been drawn to adventure and the outdoors, which led me to endurance sports and chasing challenges. But even with all that, I found myself stuck in a 9-to-5, feeling uninspired and wondering what was next.
The day I decided to leave that job and go to massage school, I went into the woods to read—and that’s when I came across the word Sankalpa. It means an intention or a resolution. In Sanskrit, San is “a connection with the highest truth,” and Kalpa is “vow.” It hit me that my own Sankalpa would be to be of service and help people reconnect with themselves.
Over a decade of teaching yoga and exploring embodiment has shown me how often we become disconnected from our bodies.
Bodywork, in its many forms, is a powerful way to restore that connection and bring you back into awareness.
I’ve been in private practice since 2022, and every session is tailored specifically to you. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach, your body and your needs guide the work we do together.
